The centre was created by Taranaki people for Taranaki People. All activities are undertaken with equality, with passion, trust and respect, openess and mutual support.

TDICT Centre, we are proud of our commitment to embedding tikanga maori within our service provision.
TDICT staff members we work with a number of different organisations which support the diverse cultures within the Taranaki region. We aim to deliver our services in a way that respects and values ethic and disability cultures.
Being able to communicate and be understood is very important and TDICT Centre is committed to providing community support in NZSL Deaf Sign Language.
A Resourceful Centre
We continue to improve access to disability supports, especially for people that not only need our services currently but also those that may need our services in the future, and we know how to be resourceful and playful with a difference.
